Tanzania: A New Frontier for the Gospel

At Jesus Harvesters Ministries, we are building a strategic bridge linking the generosity of our U.S. partners with the fire and vision of the indigenous Church in East Africa. Today, that bridge extends into Tanzania, a nation ripe for harvest and community transformation.

From Vision to Vibrant Reality

Through our partnership with Agape Fellowship Centre, we're empowering local leaders to reclaim their communities for Christ. In a major milestone, Agape is now officially registered in Tanzania, with our central hub strategically located in Dodoma, the administrative capital. From this "launching pad" at the heart of the nation, the Gospel is radiating outward into surrounding remote villages. The momentum is undeniable. Bishop Phillip Mallaki Solo is our ordained regional minister and leader to oversee nationwide work in Tanzania, establishing strong indigenous leadership that understands the culture and carries a burden for their own people. We licensed many new pastors under the Agape umbrella and celebrated the groundbreaking foundation for our Tanzanian headquarters church in Dodoma. Our joint efforts resulted in 20+ new churches planted across Kenya and Tanzania. During recent crusades, numerous souls were won to the Lord, marking the beginning of a life-changing journey for many Tanzanian families.

Church Planting

How We're Advancing the Mission

Every church we plant in Tanzania is locally led, sustainable, and culturally rooted. We've learned that the most effective ministry happens when local believers lead their own people. Each new congregation receives trained indigenous pastoral leadership, comprehensive discipleship curriculum, and ongoing mentorship designed for multiplication. Sustainable ministry requires equipped leaders. We invest heavily in pastor training through the Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College, develop ministry leaders across all departments, and provide targeted outreach training for unreached people groups, including strategic efforts to reach Somali communities.

The Harvest Ahead: Water and the Word

The challenges are real. Many congregations worship under trees or in rented spaces. We need land and permanent church buildings. Basic utilities like electricity and water are often nonexistent in remote locations. Pastors serve faithfully without adequate housing or support. We need Bibles in Swahili, transportation for pastors serving multiple villages, and ongoing training for growing leadership needs.

Your Partnership Transforms Lives

One Tanzanian pastor shared: "Before Agape came to our village, we had never heard the true Gospel. Now we are disciples of Jesus, and our entire community is different. We have hope." Jesus Harvesters Ministries operates with minimal administrative overhead—our volunteer board ensures your dollars go directly to the mission field. Every gift funds church buildings, pastor support, medical missions, leadership training, and Bibles for hungry believers.

The Urgency of Now

Tanzania's spiritual harvest field is ripe right now. Millions await the Gospel. Villages hunger for the Word. Indigenous leaders need equipping and support.

By partnering with Jesus Harvesters Ministries, you're doing more than funding a project—you're providing a beacon of hope and a "launching pad" for the Gospel to transform an entire nation.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." — Matthew 9:37-38
